All Grown Up

So you are six today. Daddy's little girl is all grown up. It was only yesterday when I thought you were still my little baby. In a blink of an eye, on one beat of the heart, one moment in time becomes history. Time is pretty much one of the most precious thing in the world for without it there will be no tomorrow. And I treasure each day growing up.... yes I am growing up together with you, like my Mummy and my Daddy grew up with me. I just smiled when you looked at Mummy and Daddy's wedding photo and asked 'Where is Shania?'.  So enjoy your day today, grandpa and grandma is coming to Kuching next week to wish you Happy Birthday so you can ask them. You can also ask them in these photos sent by Grandpa's friend, Mr. Bob Bergstrom of grandpa's and grandma's photos long time ago (1963) - and ask them, where is Daddy?

So you say you are all grown up already and can do things on your own - but Daddy will be there for you when you need me. Its a promise I make and I will try my best to keep because you will always be Daddy's little girl. So hush little baby.
